SA Scholarships

Eligibility

HKUST Staff Association offers both Scholarships and Awards to eligible candidates every year. Details are as follows:

For applicants of SA Scholarships

Be full-time undergraduate students of active registration status (studied for at least 1 full academic year) whose parent is a full-time faculty / staff member of HKUST; AND has been a full member of the HKUST Staff Association for at least 1 year.

Attain a minimum CGA of 3.50 (as of Spring / Summer of the previous academic year).

Priority shall be given to applicants who have not received the SA Scholarships before.

For applicants of SA Awards

Be NEW full-time undergraduate students of active registration status admitted to HKUST in Fall of that academic year, whose parent is a full-time faculty / staff member of HKUST; AND has been a full member of the HKUST Staff Association for at least 1 year.

Remarks

During the entire duration of study at HKUST, a student can ONLY receive a maximum of
1. 1 SA Award and 1 SA Scholarship; OR
2. 2 SA Scholarships
Students who are NOT of active status (e.g. on leave, withdrawn, graduated or terminated) will NOT be eligible for either the Scholarships or the Awards.
