Since its establishment in 1991, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) has made significant strides. The HKUST Staff Association (HKUSTSA), recognized and supported by the University, operates under the regulatory framework provided by Article 27 of the Basic Law, which ensures the freedom of association for Hong Kong residents.

The HKUSTSA plays a crucial role in facilitating effective communication between faculty, staff members, and the University. Acting as a vital channel of communication, we strive to serve the interests of all faculty and staff. Through our representation in various areas, we have successfully contributed to enhancing the welfare and interests of our members and the university community.
